The Dervish Sanders Blog's First Commentary

Previously this blog was titled "This Blog Is Open To Invited Readers Only". The former URL was http://onlyinvited.blogspot.com/. I didn't use "invitedonly" because that URL was already taken.

Now, if you click on the link above you will see a message that says "Blog has been removed. Sorry, the blog at onlyinvited.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs".

I did not, however, remove the blog. I only renamed it. All the "invited only" commentaries are still here. As previously mentioned, "invited only" was a joke, as people who were not invited could comment (due to me not turning comment moderation on). I said nobody could comment unless invited, although they could. But nobody ever did. So the joke failed.

Not that it would have been particularly funny if they had. So I don't know why I started this blog and wasted a lot of time posting 28 commentaries. Oh well. I gave up, as you can see, on 9/4/2014 (The blog ran for about three months, from 5/27/2014 until 9/4/2014).

Anyway, I have now decided to rename this blog "The Dervish Sanders Blog" and use it for quick comments (because I do not wish to break precedent on my primary blog of only posting commentaries of substance) and as place to put comments of mine I post to other blogs (so I can link back here if the host decides to not publish, or to include additional information).

As such, the current plan is that this blog will result in a lot more posts than my primary blog (although they will be a lot shorter). Will this blog get any comments? Will I keep it up and continue commenting, or will I abandon the idea?

I can't say. If you're interested in the answers to these questions you will have to keep checking back. Or follow me through Blogger. (two things nobody will likely do).

Anywho, "Invited Only" is done and "The Dervish Sanders Blog" is now open and accepting comments. For now comment moderation will remain off so that ANYONE can comment. Although I reserve the right to delete offensive comments if necessary. Provided I receive any... offensive or otherwise.

The "Invited Only" Blog Is Kaput

The "Invited Only" blog, failing to attract or confirm any invited readers is now kaput. For the record I never had any intention of inviting or confirming any readers, as the whole thing was a joke, although likely one that was a complete waste of time.

Nobody viewed it as far as I know, with the exception of one person. One person who then went back and reported to his buddies on the Contra O'Reilly Libertarian race-baiting blog.

dmarks: Will, have you seen the latest blog, members only, that WD has wanked out? You can't make this stuff up. As Bania would say, "It's gold, Jerry. Gold!". (6/1/2014 AT 1:23pm).

The "joke" btw, was that, while I SAID the blog was open to "invited readers only", I did not enforce that with comment moderation (as one might expect). But nobody ever tested that by posting a comment, of which this blog got zero. Nobody ever called me on the joke by posting a comment. So the joke failed.

As far as the future of this blog goes, while the "invited only" failed joke is over, I have decided not to shut down, leave the blog abandoned, or to delete it. Although it has been abandoned since 9/4/2014, which is the last time I posted to "invited only".

Instead I have renamed it "The Dervish Sanders Blog" and will continue using it in another capacity (which I will reveal in the very next post).

Please stay tuned for my next commentary, as well as a changing of the header image and favicon. Don't be confused by the old ones in the meantime.

A 4th Open Discussion Open To All Invited Readers/Commenters

What do my invited readers wish to discuss? Discuss whatever you wish, so long as you've been invited any topic is OK by me. For the record, nobody has been invited... yet.

Once the discussion gets going I'll likely join in and add my two cents in regards to whatever topic the group decides they wish to converse about. Although that a "discussion" will get going is unlikely, given that nobody has been invited yet.

Also, I should remind readers (if any) that if you weren't invited you should not be reading this post at all, let alone commenting. The notation at the top (in the header) should have caused you to immediately leave this blog. Or shoot me an invitation request. Then, once approved (if you meet the requirements) you can comment on this post.

Over and out... for now. I'll be back once the conversation gets going. Which, as I already said, should not happen, given that nobody is authorized to submit a comment. If anyone does comment they are breaking this blog's rules, for which they will be reported.

Yes, The Hundreds of Invitation Requests That Have Been Submitted Are STILL Being Evaluated

Some of those who have submitted invitation requests to this blog to become invited readers and commenters might be wondering why it is taking so long for said requests to be evaluated. Like I said previously, every individual who submitted a request is being carefully screened to ensure they are the RIGHT kind of person that should be admitted to this EXCLUSIVE blog.

Although I did forget to mention that one of the reasons - aside from the fact that each request is being thoroughly and carefully evaluated and every individual's background being gone over with a fine tooth comb - is the volume. Yes, it seems that literally hundreds of people are eager for the recognition that will come with being admitted to this exclusive blog.

And, I honestly can say that I am not surprised. I mean, who WOULDN'T want to be a member of an exclusive blog where the members are carefully selected to keep out the undesirables?

Anyway, when the evaluations are complete the select few who will be allowed to read and also comment on this blog will be admitted and the EXCLUSIVE reading and commenting will commence. If you are a person who has submitted a request I apologize for the delay, but you wouldn't want just ANYONE to be able to read and comment here, would you?

Of course you wouldn't. Only bloggers of a certain caliber will be admitted, which is why the background of each submitter needs to be carefully checked and evaluated - which is a process that takes time.

Especially given the VOLUME of requests that have been submitted. And the fact that some of them may be fraudulent. But, not to worry, these fraudsters WILL be routed out! And reported to the appropriate authorities. Then they will be SORRY that they tried to gain access to this blog by misrepresenting themselves!

Anyway, I am positive that, in the end, everyone who is admitted will appreciate that the time was taken to make SURE that no undesirables gain admittance.

That said, I thank you for your invitations requests (those who submitted them), and apologize in advance to those who fail to make the cut. Or some of those who failed to make the cut. Others are clearly not going to be admitted AND they will know why they asked to get in but were told NO.

In addition to the fraudsters, that is. Aside from them there are others who won't make the cut.

An Individual With The Last Name of Marks Is Not Invited

Just to be clear, an individual with the last name of "Marks" is not invited to comment on this blog. I mention this individual because I recently discovered him whining on another blog regarding this forum.

Seems the exclusivity of this blog rubs him the wrong way. Not because he contacted me and asked to join. No, he wouldn't do that. Because he knows his request would be rejected. So he simply whines on another blog where he thinks he will get some sympathy.

But this is not the forum for him, anyway. Seems this person is REALLY into homoerotica, which this blogger is not. This isn't that type of blog. As to what might be discussed here, upcoming topics might include politics or entertainment, but sadly no homoerotica.

But there could be other forums where this person can find what he's looking for. I wouldn't know, as I've never looked into it. Not that there is anything wrong with that - if homoerotica is your thing. It just isn't mine. No offense if it's your thing, though.

Anyway, this person is banned from this blog, so he should STOP coming here, looking, and wishing he could join. As I mentioned previously, scum like this Marks fellow is the very reason I made this blog INVITED ONLY. To keep out undesirables like him.

So go away Marks and do not return. You will NEVER be invited to join, no matter how much you whine. And don't even think about begging!
